Defender is now comparable to best 3rd party software now. Some here will suggest that you uninstall Kaspersky and just run with MS Defender. Them, Avast/AVG and McAfee and Bitdefender cause browser issues after some updates so it is worth checking it out. I would think that you should check the Kaspersky forum out to check if others are having issues with the update. reset BIOS to default, did all UEFI tests, no errors were foundĮdited by micbp, 26 November 2020 - 03:39 AM. also on the other forum, one person said that many i7-9750h are not 100% stable with cache undervolt of -125 mV, so i set it to -100 mV, my bet is on that for nowĮdit.
It could be kaspersky update, new windows 20H2 update or anything else i guess I will try this HP forums advice about component test in UEFI also, thanksīut honestly those freezes are so rare it would be really hard to say for sure when something actually fixes this issue
Google search for this exact model and issue sadly didnt turn up anything (although i did find that someone solved similar problem for similar model by restoring bios to default settings, will also try that)īIOS and all the drivers are up to date, nvidia drivers were reinstalled many times, since this issue appeared Suggest start at your HP Support Page and check for new drivers and BIOS as well can as try this : and search the rest of your HP Forum. Though with that being said Googling your issue shows a history of the same issue with the Omen 15. There are numbers (Model) after HP Omen 15 (Make) (bottom of laptop) so your info is incomplete. which is surprising, since there alot of different mistakes in general in other timeframes i also pinpointed the exact time of that recent freeze happening, and went into Event Viewer to see mistakes that happened during thatĪnd there no mistakes or even warnings happened at that exact time, or prior in almost an hour. I did all cpu and gpu tests in OCCT for 10 minutes each, no mistakesĪlso did the gpu and cpu tests in HP hardware diagnostics, also no mistakesĬpu has been undervolted via throttlestop by -125 mV in both core and cache for some time, but i cant tell if its related or not, because of the rarity of those freezesĪny advice on the potential cause, and maybe on if i can pull up some log or something, after i catch one of these freezes, would be very welcome basically laptop freezes up for a second (with looping sound) and then continues normallyĪt first i didnt notice this, so rare those were, but this issue is definitely not going awayįreezes seem to happen during any activity, whatever watching a movie, playing video games (so i guess its not dependant on cpu or gpu or ram load), and cant really tell the exact rarity of it, it can happen once a month or once a week, but it is rare, concidering im spending around 6 hours at my laptop a day Problem has to do with very rare and seemingly random freezes.
I had it for a little over a year, and that problem appeared a few months ago Andere Bezeichnungen können Marken anderer Rechteinhaber sein.I recently started having a problem with my hp omen 15 laptop Der Android-Roboter wurde aus einem von Google erstellten und freigegebenen Werk wiedergegeben oder modifiziert und wird gemäß der in der Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution-Lizenz beschriebenen Bedingungen verwendet.
